Strategically for successful BIM project execution​

In BIM-Coordination, our focus is on collaborative interaction between all those involved in the planning process, based on model-based communication. In your project, we act as a link between the client, the planners and the BIM management. Our goal is to ensure smooth and interdisciplinary cooperation. We attach particular importance to ensuring model quality and the precise coordination of interfaces in order to guarantee a high level of model accuracy and to identify and resolve potential conflicts between disciplines at an early stage.

Preparation and validation of the BIM executive plan (BEP)
In the first step of BIM-Coordination, we develop and validate the BIM executive plan (BEP) in order to coordinate the BIM-based collaboration of all those involved. The BEP defines BIM goals, model standards, data exchange processes and responsibilities. In the BIM test phase, we check whether the BEP is practical and adapt it if necessary to ensure a smooth implementation of BIM.
Establishment and maintenance of a collaborative data environment
The development and support of a collaborative data environment according to BIM methodology is achieved by setting up and managing a collaboration platform and implementing and maintaining a Common Data Environment (CDE). This includes the structured organization of data, ensuring effective exchange and ensuring that all relevant information is accessible to those involved in the project.
Development of standard BIM workflows for planning and execution
When developing standard BIM workflows, we develop uniform procedures for planning and execution. This includes defining processes for modeling and data management, creating templates and guidelines, and integrating the software tools used in the project. We train those involved in the project and continuously improve the workflows to ensure efficient planning, high model quality, and optimal collaboration.
Coordination of the technical models in the BIM process
Our key tasks include merging the individual specialist models, such as architecture, structural engineering and building technology, into an overarching coordination model. This model is made available to all project participants to ensure that the current planning status can always be accessed. We also support you with technical challenges in the BIM context to ensure error-free integration of the models. Comprehensive tests ensure compliance with the modeling requirements.
Geometric and Semantic Model Checking for Quality Assurance
Our range of services includes project-specific, model-based tests, such as collision checks to identify geometric conflicts and consistency checks between the various specialist models. In addition, we validate and check the consistency of non-geometric content, such as component information and classifications. To support quality assurance, we prepare coordination reports and communicate identified problems to the specialist disciplines involved.
Support for BIM-based planning processes
We support working with IFC and BCF formats to optimize model-based planning processes and ensure effective data exchange and smooth collaboration. In addition, we make issues available on collaboration platforms and track them continuously to ensure transparent communication and efficient processing. We also carry out progress checks to monitor the status of modeling and ensure that project specifications are met. This enables coordinated, transparent and efficient planning.

In these meetings, we enable close communication between our BIM planners and specialist coordinators in order to identify planning errors at an early stage and correct them together. By using BIM, we enable the various specialist disciplines to work together efficiently. We coordinate these models in order to compare the planning data with the actual conditions. In particular, by overlaying planning models with laser scans of the construction site, we ensure that everyone involved is always informed about the current status of the project.
Target-/actual comparison and identification of deviations
A central element of BIM coordination during construction is the target/actual comparison, which is made possible by combining the digital planning models with the laser scans of the construction site. This method allows deviations from the original planning approaches to be identified at an early stage. Collisions and unexpected changes can thus be proactively identified and analyzed. The early detection of such problems minimizes the risk of costly rework and delays in the construction process and ensures that the project stays on schedule.
Creation and quality assurance of as-built models
After construction is completed, the creation of a precise as-built model is crucial. This model reflects the actual condition of the completed structures and serves as a valuable reference for future maintenance and renovation work in facility management. To ensure the quality of the as-built model, the laser scans collected during the construction process and the revised planning data are merged. Consistent quality assurance ensures that all relevant information is recorded and correctly documented.
